What is SEO & Why does it matter in 2022

SEO SEO SEO. We cannot stress the importance of it enough! Maybe you are wondering what SEO is - maybe you’ve heard the term and still don’t know what it stands for: SEO is search engine optimisation. In short, where does your website rank when I search on google for your product or service? Page 1 or 345?

Let’s be practical - what is SEO?


Practically, the easiest way to explain SEO is to think about searching for something on Google. You know, when you need to find the latest fitness watch or perhaps are looking for a coffee shop near where you live or gyms in your area. Well, most of the time if what you are looking for isn’t on the first page of Google, you might go to the second page but beyond that, most people stop searching. So, as a company or brand, service, or offering you want to try to be found on the first page of google - that’s where SEO comes into play. SEO helps improve your search ranking and can increase your visibility.
